Medline Plus - Information on over 650 diseases and conditions. There are also lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, health information from the media, and links to thousands of clinical trials. PubMed Central - National Library of Medicine's digital archive of life sciences literature (for medical and health services professionals). Funded by the National Library of Medicine.
Virtual Reference Library - History - Searchable full-text of the American Civil War Reference Library, American Revolution Reference Library, History Behind the Headlines, and Major Acts of Congress. Funded by the New York State Library NOVEL program.
Annals of American History - With over 2,000 primary source documents and 700 pieces of multimedia, Annals of American History is an excellent resource for expanding your understanding of the history and culture of the United States. Funded by the Ramapo Catskill Library System.
TOPICsearch - This current events database includes 40,000 full text documents carefully selected by a staff of librarians and teachers. Funded by the New York State Library NOVEL program.
EBSCO Middle Search - Provides full text for over 100 magazines covering general topics appropriate for middle and jr. high school students. Funded by RCLS and the New York State Library NOVEL program.

Worldmark Encyclopedia of the Nations - Presents easy-to-understand information on 200 countries and dependencies from around the world. Funded by the Ramapo Catskill Library System.
Infotrac Junior - Provides junior high and middle students with a wide variety of full-text sources that include the leading magazines, newspapers and reference books. Funded by the New York State Library NOVEL program.
Greenwood Lake Union Free School District – The official web site of the Greenwood Lake Union Free School District, which contains links to both the elementary and middle schools. The middle school link provides Homework Assignments for Grades 5 through 8.
Tuxedo Union Free School District – George F. Baker High School - The official web site of the George F. Baker High School, which contains such information on the Administration, Attendance Policy, a Calendar of Events and more.
Village of Greenwood Lake – This is the official Village of Greenwood Lake web site and contains such information as a Calendar of Events, a Visitor’s Guide, Local Government information, the Village Code and more.
Town of Warwick – This is the official Town of Warwick web site and contains information on Town Services, Park Locations and Hours, Education, Business Services, History and more.
Orange County Government – This is the official Orange County Government web site and contains such information as County News, Emergency Information, Job Opportunities, County Departments and more.
Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce – The official web site of the Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce, which contains general information about Greenwood Lake as well as what there is to do, a Calendar of Events, a Community Phone Directory, Members of the Chamber and more.
County Database of Community Organizations – With this database, you can find information for community clubs, groups and organizations in Orange, Rockland, Sullivan and Ulster counties. The Orange Library Association is continually endeavoring to update and add to this database. This file is inclusive of all locally active non-profits, social services, support groups, civic organizations, and recreational clubs. The update effort is needed to correct dated information, to delete inactive groups and to add new entries. Clubs, groups, and organizations can add or correct their own information via an online form found at
